    A circa 1880's brick Victorian houses a collection of over 30,000 volumes. John
    and Toni, proprietors, occupy the second floor flat, and the bookstore cats;
    Desiree, Fannie Mae, and Harriet consider all space as theirs.

    Foul Play prides itself on carrying every book currently in print in the mystery
    field, and an extensive collection of used paperbacks. John's sister Judy is also a
    partner in the endeavor. The combined knowledge base of this threesome is
    truly awe-inspiring. They love to play the Stump-the-Bookseller game - you
    know - the one that starts, "I can't remember the name of the author or the title,
    but the cover of the second edition had a yellow something on it, and the
    protagonist is a masseuse from Perth Amboy...
